Athlinks brings together millions of individual results from thousands of endurance events to offer not only race results but also historical data for each individual member of Athlinks. Once you've claimed results to your profile, they can be viewed in a variety of places and in a variety of ways.
Below is an overview of each area of your Athlinks profile where results, historical data, and other metrics can be used to give you the most informative look at yours and others' endurance experiences.
On your Athlinks profile page, you can see some general statistics for the events you've participated in. The Personal Records will pull your best times from your top three race types. The Statistics field will show the number of Races in which you've participated, the distance you've covered in all races, and your ranking percentage among other Athlinks members. Check out our Statistics and Personal Records FAQ article HERE for some common questions and answers about Stats and PRs.
Your profile's Overview will show your last several races, and you can click on the race name to see specifics for your results, view photos and videos, and more. See the Race Results View section below for details.
The list on the Overview Tab will show you the race name, date, and location, your age, gender, and overall ranks, your overall pace, and your final time. You can click the View All button to see all results for that race.
Beneath each result in this list, you can view likes and comments on your result, and share the result on Facebook. If you're viewing someone else's profile, you can click the heart to leave a like or click the comment bubble to send them a message of congratulations.
The Results tab will show your results in a similar way as the Overall tab. The main difference is that the Results tab shows you ALL your races from most to least recent, separated by year. You can use the Filter and Sort By fields to see races based on type/distance, year, category, and race. You can also use the Search by event name box to quickly locate a specific result.
Like the Overview tab, you can click on a race's name to see specifics about your results, view photos and videos, and more.
Race Results View
When you click on a Race Name either on the Overview tab or the Results tab, you'll be taken to your Race Results view. This shows your bib number on the left and details on your time, your age, gender, and overall placement, and stats about the race itself including Start Time, Distance, Gun Time (time from when the race started to your finish time) and the Weather.
If you scroll down, you'll see the Race Splits section which will show ranking positions and times for each split in the race. An arrow pointing up next to a place listing indicates your placing increased when you crossed a given split. A down arrow means the opposite.
If you scroll down even further, you'll be able to view any Photos and Videos the organizer uploaded to your profile.
The final way you can view results information from your profile is on the Statistics tab. Currently, this tab shows your Personal Records for each supported event type in which you've participated, including your final time, placement percentile, the race name, and the race date.
