Take me back to Athlinks!

I see an event, but there aren't any results in it...

Unless we have a direct partnership to house results immediately for an event, it is our standard policy to wait 7 to 10 days after an event before uploading results in case of changes to the official results following the race. 

If the results for that event are not uploaded within 7-10 days after the event has occurred, there are a couple things to consider before you contact us.

Sometimes an event may get added to our site multiple times. It's possible that results may only exist in one instance. Use our Event Search and filter the results by the City and State in which the event took place and use one or two key words that are relevant to the event to make sure you see all possible matches within the area the event took place. You can see in the example below that this broad search returned two results for the same event.

If you still don't find results after a similar search, you can Contact Us with the following:

  • URL/link for the Event in Athlinks (so we know where to upload results to)
  • URL/link for the official results of the event you participated in (so we know where to get the results)

Once we have this information, our Data Team will upload the results into Athlinks.

Our data team needs to be able to clearly read/see the names and finishing times for all the athletes (not just your results) to be able to upload the results on our site. They also have to be able to copy/paste the results from the official website or format that the results are listed in. If this is not possible, we may ask that you find and provide us with an alternative link or format for the results. If there is not another format or listing available, we will not be able to upload the official results, but you can still add/list your unofficial time in your profile to keep record of it.

If you're not able to find official results for the event, you can Add Your Own Time to the event in Athlinks so that you can claim the result.
